I have to use up my carried over holiday from last year by the end of March, so I am spending a week with my Brother in Oxfordshire.
This is the Vale of the White Horse behind the estate where Neil lives

He is walking the feet off me - 3 mile round trip on Sunday which was 10,000 steps.
Today it was 12,000. Here are some photos from today.

We then went and had a cup of tea at a cafe on the Coleshill Estate, it's situated in what must have been an estate farm, the outbuildings are workshops, a room showing you the history of the estate and a second hand bookshop as well as the cafe.
We then drove up to the Uffington White Horse, an ancient site where the horse has been carved out on the hill. The best view is from the air, you can't see all of it to photograph it from the ground. Here is the Wikipedia page about it:

We walked out the back along the Ridgeway which is an ancient trackway to Wayland's Smithy which is a neolithic long barrow.
